The essential kit for growing mushrooms at home! The Starter Kit is designed specifically for beginners who want to get a great harvest of mushrooms without too much work and with the bare minimum. Forget all those overly expensive kits that produce little and are poorly made! Over 3 times the amount of substrate compared to the kits you are used to! This means much bigger harvests!

What's in the kit:

x1 1kg Bag of Ceres: Hydrated and Sterilized Oats with Injection Port or Demetra: Hydrated and Sterilized Cereal Mix with Injection Port

x1 2kg Bag of Iside: Hydrated and sterilized substrate based on coconut fiber and vermiculite

Product Description:

1 kg of sterilized and hydrated Oats or Oat and Corn Mix in a Unicorn Bag with a recyclable 0.2 micron filter, with injection port.

These sterilized grain bags are ready to be inoculated with agar, liquid culture syringe or spore culture. Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C, and cooled in front of our certified HEPA filtered laminar flow hood.

Oats , rich in protein and nitrogen , provide an ideal nutritional profile for mycelial development. Corn , high in energy, promotes rapid colonization due to its structure and water retention capacity. Together they create a complete spawn, suitable for all cultivable mushroom species.

2kg of hydrated and sterilised coco and vermiculite substrate for growing all manure-loving mushrooms. Contained in a recyclable Unicorn Bag with 0.2 micron filter.

Our substrate is carefully prepared and mixed. It is perfectly hydrated with calcium-rich Apennine water that supports the regulation of pH and the cellular structure of the cultivated mushrooms. Vermiculite adds minerals and helps regulate evaporation and humidity of the substrate during mushroom growth.

Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C, and cooled and sealed in front of our certified HEPA-filtered laminar flow hood.

These bags of substrate are ready to be inoculated with Grain Spawn.

Our substrates can be used immediately or can be stored for up to 8 weeks at room temperature from the date of manufacture.

How to use!

• Don't even try using it to grow magic mushrooms !
• Inoculate Oats with a syringe of liquid or spore cultures, and leave to incubate at around 25 C
• Once all the cereal has been colonized, pour it into the substrate bag.
• Allow the substrate to fully colonize before exposing it to air and setting it to fruit.
• Fruiting begins when the substrate is exposed to fresh, humid air and some light, make a 10cm cut below the filter.
• You can fruit directly inside the bag or pour the contents into a monotub
