Starter Kit - Spawn to Bulk!

The essential kit for growing mushrooms at home! The Starter Kit is designed exactly for beginners who want to get a great mushroom harvest without too much work and with the bare minimum. Forget all those excessively expensive kits that produce little and are poorly made! Over 3 times the amount of substrate compared to the kits you are used to! This means much bigger harvests!

What's in the kit:

x1 1kg bag of Ceres: Hydrated and Sterilized Oats with Injection Port or Demetra: Hydrated and Sterilized Grain Mix with injection port

x1 2kg bag of Iside: Hydrated and sterilized substrate based on coconut coir and vermiculite

Description:

1 kg of Oats or Oats and Corn Mix sterilized and hydrated in a Unicorn Bag with a recyclable 0.2 micron filter, with an injection port.

These sterilized grain bags are ready to be inoculated with agar, liquid culture syringe or spores. Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C, and cooled in front of our laminar flow hood with a certified HEPA filter. 

The oats, rich in protein and nitrogen, provide an ideal nutritional profile for mycelium development. The corn, with a high energy content, promotes rapid colonization thanks to its structure and water retention capacity. Together they create a complete spawn, suitable for all cultivable mushroom species.

2 kg of hydrated and sterilized substrate based on coconut coir and vermiculite for growing all manure-loving mushrooms. Contained in a Unicorn Bag with a recyclable 0.2 micron filter. 

Our substrate is carefully prepared and mixed. It is perfectly hydrated with calcium-rich water from the Apennines that supports pH regulation and the cellular structure of the cultivated mushrooms. Vermiculite adds minerals and helps regulate the evaporation and moisture of the substrate during mushroom growth. 

Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C, and cooled and sealed in front of our laminar flow hood with a certified HEPA filter.  

These substrate bags are ready to be inoculated with Grain Spawn.

Our substrates can be used immediately or can be stored for up to 8 weeks at room temperature from the production date.

What's not in the kit

• Liquid culture syringe or spores
• A gremlin
• Trump's stolen ballots
• The strength to wake up in the morning 

 How to use!

• Don't try to use it to grow magic mushrooms!
• Inoculate Oats with a Liquid Culture or Spore syringe, and leave to incubate around 25 C
• Once all the grain is colonized, pour it into the substrate bag
• Let the substrate be completely colonized before exposing it to the air and putting it to fruit
• Fruiting starts when the substrate is exposed to fresh, humid air and a little light, make a 10cm cut below the filter.
• You can fruit directly inside the bag or pour the contents into a monotub
