These sterilized grain bags are ready to be inoculated with agar, a liquid culture syringe, or spores. Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C and cooled in front of our certified HEPA filter laminar flow hood. 

The oats, rich in protein and nitrogen, provide an ideal nutritional profile for mycelial growth. The corn, with its high energy content, promotes rapid colonization thanks to its structure and water retention capacity. Together they create a complete spawn, suitable for all cultivable mushroom species. If you have species that are sometimes a bit shy to grow, this substrate is for you!

Our bags can be stored at room temperature for 2 months without losing their sterility.

Circe

Hydrated and sterilized manure-based substrate for growing all manure-loving mushrooms. Contained in a Unicorn Bag with a recyclable 0.2 micron filter.

The PERFECT substrate. 

This is our premier substrate for all mushrooms that like to grow on manure. A carefully studied and refined mixture based on manure, coconut coir, and a variety of organic and inorganic amendments and nutrients. The substrate is carefully prepared and mixed, and perfectly hydrated with calcium-rich water from the Apennines, which supports pH regulation and the cellular structure of the cultivated mushrooms.  

Each bag is sterilized at 121 °C, and cooled and sealed in front of our certified HEPA filter laminar flow hood.  

These substrate bags are ready to be inoculated with Grain Spawn.

Our substrates can be used immediately or stored for up to 12 weeks at room temperature from the production date.

The substrate can be used with the following cultivation techniques:

• Grow in the bag
• Monotub
• Martha tent
• In the garden

 How to use!

• Don't try to use it for magic mushrooms!
• Mix it thoroughly and evenly with the Grain Spawn
• Let the substrate be completely colonized before exposing it to the air and putting it to fruit
• Fruiting begins when the substrate is exposed to fresh, humid air and a little light
• You can fruit directly inside the bag or pour the contents into a monotub
